Bendigo Bank, a second tier Australian regional bank, today notified customer's that it had - following months of anticipation - finally launched Android Pay access for card holders. 
A copy of the correspondence is below, and whilst the announcement in of itself is perhaps not remarkable, it is the first time that a second tier bank in Australia has gone live with either Apple Pay or Android Pay. Notably, the bank's South Australian based partner, Adelaide Bank, is yet to launch the service for its customers.
The setup process for customers is the same as with other banks, and in that way remains very simple and straightforward.
