NAB (AU) have long offered digital banking customers access to electronic statements, and with it, an alert service to let customers know when they have received a new statement.
Recently, the bank set about redesigning the public space in a number of its digital banking channels, in particular mobile app and web (to a predominantly responsive design). In line with the changes in its digital banking channels, the bank has also entirely redesigned its eStatement email alerts - and we at iSky think the change is a great improvement.
A copy of both the old and new email alerts are found below, though it is difficult to convey the use of space and colour that is found in the new alert - which is responsive to the resolution of the screen on which it is being viewed (in our case, we were using Mac Mail in OSX to identify this change).
The email alert also takes the opportunity to update customers on how to manage their statement settings, as well as provide a link to security information and staying safe whilst banking online.
