HSBC (UK) Launch New Digital Document Service

HSBC (UK) today sent out a reminder to customers, including iSky Research, about its new document service which launched on 1 December.

HSBC is one of an increasing number of banks to offer customers the option of receiving their correspondence (both statements and other documents) via digital banking channels, though don't go as far as Barclays (UK) and ASB (NZ) to offer the customer the ability to store their own documents in a digital banking based cloud.

Below is a copy of the email iSky received today reminding us of the launch of My Documents and to let you see more we have also provided a single screenshot of the new service screen, as seen in the HSBC desktop web digital banking channel.

Notably, the customer does have the option to opt out of electronic correspondence, and this is noted both in the content of the email and on the service screen.
